Career Development Sub-Committee

            This Sub-Committee addresses any issues brought to the Dental Professional Advisory Committee that are relevant to a dental career in the PHS, whether it be an issue that effects individual careers or the entire category.  As issues are raised that require resolution, a workgroup is developed which a voting member of the DePAC chairs and whose membership is made up of volunteers from the field. Workgroups are created and dissolved as issues arise and are handled, although some workgroups dealing with ongoing issues, like Recruitment and Retention, are ever present.

Currently the Career Development Sub-Committee is made up of four workgroups: Billeting, Mentoring, Membership and Recruitment and Retention.
